WHAT ARE METASKILLS?

Metaskills are advanced, transferable capabilities such as self-management, social intelligence, and innovation that underpin effective learning and success in a rapidly changing world. They form the foundation on which technical skills are built. We link our wider achievements to metaskills and classes refer to these regularly as they are embedded into classroom practice.  A group of learners created the posters below to support our understanding of Metaskills in school.  Each metaskill was introduced at assembly and followed up in classes.
