P1 Progression
Our P1 phonics progression sets out the order in which sounds are introduced each week. This structured approach helps children build the skills they need to read, spell and write with increasing confidence. Each week, learners are taught new sounds and given opportunities to practise blending, segmenting and applying these sounds in their reading and writing.
