Community Champions

We have established a pupil leadership group called the Community Champions. Their main focus is supporting the local community in Laurencekirk. One of the groups they have been learning about is Catalyst Church’s Open Doors initiative. 

Before Christmas, the pupils visited the group to see how they provide food for those in need, as well as a welcoming space where people can come together, talk, and feel supported. 

The group are hosting a Food Drive encouraging families to bring in donations for the local food bank.
